Angry customer

I had an angry customer today. She wanted to return a box without the receipt, when I told her I unfortunately could not do that, she threw the box over the counter. Another time she got upset because one of the boxes she wanted to ship did not have a street address. After I calmly explained to her that our system won't print a label without it she decided she did not want to ship anything with me. When I told her to have a good day, she turned and yelled at me, "I was before I came in!"

My first reaction was to get upset. Then, I thought about it. She is the one who is so miserable. It isn't a healthy thing to be so angry at the world and acting like you are a victim all the time! I tried to place myself in her shoes and realized, she probably has been deeply hurt in the past to make her the way she is.

I don't know her story, all I know is she will be in my prayers tonight!
